The Hare
This Gerold Porzellan puzzle mug stand 7” tall and 4” in diameter with the usual nude lithophane in the bottom.
It shows a well-fed hare running across a snowy field in winter. If you look really closely at the base of the puzzle mug, below and slightly to the right of the rabit’s head, you may to able to see a tiny white fleck. It doesn’t feel rough like a chip, so it may be a mold mark. I suppose I could also use that term Ebay sellers lover, and call it a “flea bite”.
The mark on the bottom says Gerold Porzellan, Bavaria, Made in W-Germany.
